Artificial Intelligence and its capabilities

Man-made consciousness (AI) is the reenactment of human knowledge forms by machines, particularly PC frameworks. These procedures incorporate learning (the procurement of data and tenets for utilizing the data), thinking (utilizing standards to achieve estimated or clear ends) and self-revision.

Current Uses of AI:

  • Email filtering: Email services use artificial intelligence to filter incoming emails. Users can train their spam filters by marking emails as “spam”.
  • Personalization: Online services use artificial intelligence to personalize your experience. Services, like Amazon or Netflix, “learn” from your previous purchases and the purchases of other users in order to recommend relevant content for you.
  • Fraud detection: Banks use artificial intelligence to determine if there is strange activity on your account. Unexpected activity, such as foreign transactions, could be flagged by the algorithm.
  • Speech recognition: Applications use artificial intelligence to optimize speech recognition functions. Examples include intelligent personal assistants, e.g. Amazon’s “Alexa” or Apple’s “Siri”.



Throughout all aspects of the AI model creation and usage process, there are tremendous amounts of computing power, enormous data sets, and—of course—significant amounts of storage to hold that data. In fact, a combination of having access to as well as analyzing the huge amounts of data is an essential part of how AI algorithms are built, maintained and updated.These days, however, it goes beyond the amount of storage and processing power these tasks require. For AI to be effective, the technology behind AI needs to enable real-time processes, which means that all the components of the infrastructure behind it need to act or react very quickly. In fact, the storage requirements for AI training can be so demanding for some applications that not even all types of flash storage can handle it—only the variants that are optimized for real-time analytics.
